O’Flaherty. David & John offer quality facilities with a personal service tailored as much as possible to your needs while maintaining a relaxed, cosy & informal atmosphere. You can be assured of receiving a warm welcome with complimentary refreshments on arrival; you can choose one of our quality teas or our sumptuous and aromatic coffee accompanied by some homemade cake if John has had time to bake. Breakfasts at ‘Overcombe’ are delicious and can only be described as a special treat. The choice is comprehensive as we have tried to ensure that there is something to tempt your taste buds. Cooked options range from the more traditional to lighter fish & vegetarian choices; the emphasis is always on LOCAL, HOMEMADE, ORGANIC & FAIRTRADE produce. Our Cornish back bacon is dry cured and then oak smoked using traditional methods & our artisan sausages are handmade, all meat that we serve comes from our local butcher, Bidders at Yelverton. As you would expect our eggs are free range and come from a farm near Cotehele just on the far side of the river Tamar. Sample BREAKFAST MENU Our light & airy dining room has a cosy and relaxing sitting area in which you can chat and plan what to do during your stay in Devon’s glorious Dartmoor National Park. To help you decide we have lots of maps, leaflets & guidebooks detailing how you can get the most out of your stay on Dartmoor which of course you are welcome to borrow and take with you to ensure you do not accidentally get lost! All we ask is that you return them to us after your fun filled day so they are available for others to enjoy; but if you need them again please do ask as we have several copies of most items. If you are intending to arrive by car then please do not worry as we have parking on site for approximately 7 vehicles and there is ample space on the road outside our premises. The road outside of our property is purely a service road and is therefore quiet. We also have a garage that you can use as a lockable store for cycles or golfing equipment.
