Combe Martin Wildlife Park -- Set in 26 Acres of Sub Tropical paradise, this stunning park is not only home to some of the most endangered animals on the planet, but also takes you back to prehistoric times when Dinosaurs roamed the Earth.

Exmoor Zoo -- is unique and an unusual zoo to visit! Opened in 1982 the zoo is now an ideal family venue, especially for the younger generation. Changes keep taking place, even a visit last year, will today see new exhibits and animals! The zoo has always specialised in smaller animals in the past, providing "natural" living spaces for many creatures no longer seen in the city zoos. The careful planting of shrubs and trees as they have matured, will keep you wondering what is next, providing a very relaxing and natural atmosphere! Today new exhibits exist for larger animals such as cheetah, blackbuck, maned wolves, sitatunga and of course the "Exmoor beast" !"

Welcome to Living Coasts - Torquay's coastal zoo and conservation charity. Living Coasts is open from 10:00am every day. Feel free to explore our website to find out more about our animals, plants, and daily events. The housing market might be in a slump, but it hasn't dropped here at Living Coasts. Macaroni penguins at Living Coasts have upgraded to a new purpose-built waterfront pad. Designed to mimic their natural rocky habitat, it has been constructed out of natural boulders and easy-to-clean concrete. The location is just across the way from the beach where the coastal zoo's African penguins live - and there's a special penguin crossing so the birds can get over the public footpath safely. Visitors will walk between the two penguin colonies and mingle with any penguins that choose to wander out into the public area.
